2020 CLINTON COUNTY SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED
Clinton County Community Foundation awards more than $297,500 in scholarships for 2020-21 school year
June 12, 2020 -- The Clinton County Community Foundation has awarded 91 scholarships and renewals from 25 funds to Clinton County students with an approximate value of $297,564, including the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship.
“These scholarships are another example of the many donors in our caring community and the value they place on education,” said Bob Thorley, chairman of the Clinton County Community Foundation Services Committee. “In these extraordinary days, this tradition of giving is especially meaningful, given the challenges and the sacrifices so many of the graduating seniors have made this year. Although they may not have a traditional graduation ceremony, they know the community continues to support and reward their hard work.”
Thorley went on to praise those who make the scholarships possible. “We thank and acknowledge our donor community,” he said. “Their generosity and continuing contributions help fund scholarships like these, which are so vital to students and their families.”
