COMMUNITY FOUNDATION GRANTS CONTRIBUTE TO CLINTON COUNTY QUALITY OF LIFE

Nonprofit organizations awarded nearly $217,375 so far in 2023

May 19, 2023 – Eight deserving nonprofit organizations in Clinton County, Indiana, received $217,375 in competitive grants awarded through the Clinton County Community Foundation in the first four months of 2023.

“Clinton County has a variety of nonprofit programs and services that need support,” said Megan Sheets, chair of the Community Foundation Services Committee. “These grants are awarded from our community endowment unrestricted funds that donors have contributed to with the intent to support needs that benefit the citizens of Clinton County now and in the future. We are grateful for our donors’ foresight and generosity that ensure continued support for the community.”

The following agencies and programs were awarded grants during January to April 2023 from community endowment unrestricted funds (alphabetical by the organizational name):

$15,625 to the Clinton Co. Boys & Girls Club for the “Out of School Time (OST) Program Enhancement” program.

$70,000 to Clinton County, Indiana, “Clinton County Training Complex” updates.

$5,000 to COACH Kids of Clinton County for the “Friends for Life” program.

$2,000 to COACH Kids of Clinton County for “Office Moving Expenses.”

$10,000 to CORE Community Center for “Parking Lot Repairs.”

$25,000 to Healthy Communities of Clinton County for the “Trinity Hope Center.”

$13,750 to Servants at Work, “Ramps for Clinton County.”

$26,000 to The Learning Network for the “English Language Learning for Clinton County's Working Adults” program.

And $50,000 to United Way For Clinton Co., Inc., for “Cradle to Career Soft Costs.”
