2017 HOWARD COUNTY SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED

Community Foundation of Howard County awards more than $638,800 in scholarships for 2017-18 school year

June 20, 2017 -- Through the Community Foundation of Howard County, 156 scholarships and renewals from 57 scholarship funds have been awarded to Howard County students with an approximate value of $638,800, including the two Lilly Endowment Community Scholarships.

“Our donors reach out and connect with students through these scholarships,” said Glenn Grundmann, scholarship chair for the Community Foundation of Howard County. “Donors are looking to the future.  They provide financial support that helps the recipients focus on their goals by easing the financial burden. The community is also strengthened through their caring.  We thank our donors for this foresight, and encourage the recipients to continue the tradition of giving.”
