STUDENTS RECEIVE MORE THAN $700,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS
September 8, 2023 -- Through the Community Foundation of Howard County, 275 scholarships and renewals from 118 scholarship funds totaling $711,057 have been awarded to 210 Howard County students for the 2023-24 school year.
“We are thrilled to have so many kind donors in our community who want to invest in the future and help these students grow in their prospective fields,” said Joe Dunbar, chair of the Scholarships Committee for the Community Foundation of Howard County. “These scholarships bring to light the achievements of the recipients and the generosity of our donors. This investment in our students greatly impacts our community as educational attainment is increased.”
