2013 HOWARD COUNTY SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED

Community Foundation of Howard County awards more than $326,100 in scholarships for 2013-14 school year

June 13, 2013 —Through the Community Foundation of Howard County, 106 scholarships and renewals from 38 scholarship funds have been awarded to Howard County students with an approximate value of $326,100, including the two Lilly Endowment Community Scholarships.

“Our donors create scholarships through the Foundation because they have a passion to help students pursue the career of their choice at the school of their choice,” said Glenn Grundmann, scholarship chair for the Community Foundation of Howard County. “Donors also want students to know that their community is supporting them. We hope this encouragement builds confidence as they pursue their goals.”
